The Solo Entrepreneur: The Top Can Be Lonely

What does a single entrepreneur do when they have no support system? Who do they talk to? I have heard before that being at the top is lonely, and I agree. When you reach a certain level of success (whatever that may look like to you), there are certain things that you no longer will tolerate, and it’s because of your low tolerance for foolishness, you are left with not many choices for support due to the cruel world we live in. As your influence grows, your circle becomes smaller. Don’t despise the fewer people in your life- embrace it. With a smaller circle comes peace. There’s less drama and less confusion. You will eventually connect with like-minded people, so don’t let the thought of losing close relationships stop you from continuing to achieve, just keep climbing and the people you are meant to meet, you will meet. Try connecting with networking groups in your community and go to places like coffee shops and other events that are of interest to you. Here’s to continued growth!
